The purpose of an admission register was to record basic details about children admitted to the school, and about their parents or guardians.Pupils' records were numbered sequentially, with early volumes having different sequences for boys and girls, and new sequences beginning each year.Volumes contain information pertaining to each student including: date of admission, pupil's name, sex (male or female), date of birth or age in years and months, religious denomination, and position in family. The following details are recorded about the child's parents or guardians: name, residence, and occupation. The pupil's date of leaving the school and name of school next entered area also recorded.In 1973 the pupils are separated into a Monday to Wednesday class and a Thursday to Friday class. From 1974 they are separated into Morning, Afternoon and Country classes.
