\"Listening to Canadians\" is a public opinion survey, which was conducted three times a year. These surveys measure Canadians' views on public policy priorities and their assessment of how the Government of Canada serves Canadians in responding to those priorities. The surveys were conducted by Communications Canada. The questions ask opinions on Governemnt of Canada priorities, the internet, access to Government information and the ability to access Government services. The respondents were also asked questions so that they could be grouped according to geographic and social variables. Topics of interest include: Advertisements for the Government; Contact with the Government; Contacted Government for information; How you contact the Government; Preferred method of contact with the Government; Future of the country; Canada's economy next year; Health Care; Mazanowski Report Ramanow Commission; Issues Government of Canada should focus on; Issues to be made priority by Government; Northern Territories; Government priorities in the North; Performance of the Government of Canada; Rating of the Governments performance. Basic demographic variables are also included.
