Regional public reports and annual monitoring sheets under the surveillance and protection programme for the ash harrier ("Circus pygargus") in Andalusia.

The present contents detail the annual results (annual reports such as the descriptive sheets) of the breeding period of the Ashed Eagle (Circus pygargus) obtained in the period 2010-present in the Andalusian territory. Both the population data regarding the location of nesting pairs are collected, as well as the efforts made by the personnel who have participated in the realization of actions contemplated in the Action Program that develops the Plan for the Recovery and Conservation of Steppe Birds and specifically with the ash harrier.

Reports are available for the 2010-to-date period (except for 2014) and 2017-to-date data sheets (previously the data sheets were generated in the Land Bird Monitoring Programme, included in the latter's reports when censuses were carried out, in 2010 and in 2015). The reports include the monitoring of the nesting population, the nests controlled by the Action Program, the population trend and management, reproductive monitoring, as well as management proposals, both immediate and short-term.

The measures envisaged in the programme are: search and location of the areas of greatest potential for the species. Location, tracking and signaling of nests. Exposure to farmers, owners and harvesters of the situation of the species and the different ways in which they can collaborate. Follow-up of flown chickens and management plan of affected nests. Information accessible to the general public. Period: 2004 to present.
