Aquifer Boundary of the Wood River Valley Aquifer System, South-Central Idaho

These data were released prior to the October 1, 2016 effective date for the USGS’s policy dictating the review, approval, and release of scientific data as referenced in USGS Survey Manual Chapter 502.8 Fundamental Science Practices: Review and Approval of Scientific Data for Release. This dataset contains the boundary of the Wood River Valley aquifer system as modified and expanded from that defined by Skinner and others (2007): It has been extended farther up several tributary canyons, extended up the Big Wood River to include a number of wells near the mouth of Baker Creek, expanded to include the western side of the Poverty Flat area, and extended slightly downstream of Stanton Crossing and Picabo.
