Urinary protein concentrations in CANVAS prior to randomization. The CANVAS program integrated data from two clinical studies that randomized individuals with type 2 diabetes and high cardiovascular risk to either canagliflozin or placebo treatment.

The DC-ren project selected 415 patients from this cohort for in-depth molecular characterization for baseline measurements of blood and urinary biomarker candidates. The here described data set comprises urinary marker concentrations measured by Mesoscale as well as selected clinical routine lab measurements determined in whole blood. Data from a total 1707 study visits are available.
