Bread wheat is the most extensively cultivated wheat crop, being grown on over 95% of the wheat growing areas of the world. Covalent post-translational modifications (PTM) of histone proteins play a major role in regulation of gene expression and chromatin architecture in both animal and plants. To gain insight in the epigenetic landscape of bread wheat, we generated the global profiling of four histone marks (H3K4me3, H3K9ac, H3K27me3, H3K36me3) in the aerial part of 10-day old wheat seedlings.
