Pacific National Coral Reef Monitoring Program 2024 — Reef Fishes of Hawaiʻi

This report summarizes the reef-fish survey data collected in Hawaiʻi during the Pacific NCRMP survey mission in 2024. This report incorporates reef fish data collected by the Papahānaumokuākea Marine National Sanctuary monitoring team, who use the same reef fish survey methods as the NCRMP. The status of reef-fish assemblages is described at the island scale and for larger islands at the sector scale. By collecting data using the same methods over time, we are able to provide time series that begin in 2009, when ARP started to consistently use SPC fish surveys.
