资源简介:

This data is collected as part of a research published in PLOS ONE under the title "Do people take stimulus correlations into account in visual search?". In the research, we examine whether human observers take stimulus correlations into account in orientation target detection. We conducted an experimental task in which observers presented with four oriented Gabor patches. The task was to detect if a vertically oriented Gabor patch ("target") was present on a trial.

The file contains the data from 11 subjects who performed 3600 trials each (4 sessions of 900 trials), a total of 39600 trials.

Column descriptions:
subjnr: Subject identifier; 1,2,...,11
rho: correlation condition; 0,1/3, 2/3, 1
T_present: target presence (0 = absent, 1 = present)
repsonse: subject response (0 = "absent", 1 = "present")
correct: correctness of subject response (0 = incorrect, 1 = correct)
ort1, ort2, ort3, ort4: orientations of the 4 stimuli on each trial
