资源简介:
Formerly the Oakley Manor, the Davidson House was constructed in 1889 by Robert Davidson, of Davidson LumberCompany. It represents one of Ottawa’s finest examples of the Queen Anne Revival Style. The Davidson House is can be identified by its towering gable, wrap-around verandah, and intricate detailing. The house is a designated heritage building, recognized by the City of Ottawa in 1979 for its historical and architectural significance (By-Law 114-79). This is the Integrated Project Dossier compiled by a group of undergrad students of the Architectural Conservation and Sustainability Program (Engineers and architects) at Carleton University for the CIVE3207 (ARCN4100) Historic Site Recording and Assessment course in 2013.
