Genome-wide mapping of AP sites, binding of repair proteins and G4 structure formation

We demonstrate that there is a genome-wide correlation between endogenous AP site damages, binding of repair proteins APE1, AcAPE1 and AcOGG1 and G4 structure formation. Overall design: Examination of endogenous AP site formation, binding of repair proteins APE1, AcAPE1 and AcOGG1 and formation of G4 structure. To identify genes that are regulated by APE1 and G4 structures, RNA-Seq analysis was performed with control and Dox-inducible APE1 knock-down (APE1 KD) A549 cells.
