Dataset of Scientific Production on Zika Virus in Brazil (1945–2017): Institutional Data for Bibliometric Analysis

This dataset comprises the bibliographic records of scientific articles regarding the Zika Virus (ZIKV) in Brazil, spanning the period from 1945 to 2017. The data was extracted from a systematic review conducted across PubMed, BVS, Scopus, Web of Science, and Embase databases, following the PRISMA protocol (Page et al., 2021). The dataset is organized into five distinct sheets: Brazil_Total: A comprehensive list of all identified articles with Brazilian institutional affiliation. Fiocruz: Subset of articles affiliated with the Oswaldo Cruz Foundation. USP: Subset of articles affiliated with the University of São Paulo. UFRJ: Subset of articles affiliated with the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro. UFBA: Subset of articles affiliated with the Federal University of Bahia. The data was cleaned and standardized using R, and is intended to support bibliometric research and institutional collaborative network analysis.
