Current Effective Date: 0901Z 08 Jun 2026 to 0901Z 03 Aug 2026 The Digital Obstacle File dataset describes all known obstacles of interest to aviation users in the United States, with limited coverage of the Pacific, the Caribbean, Canada, and Mexico. It contains only obstruction data for those man-made objects that affect domestic aeronautical charting products and does not purport to indicate the presence of all obstructions that may be encountered. The obstacles are assigned unique numerical identifiers; accuracy codes, and listed in order by state. Obstacle information is published every eight weeks by the U.S. Department of Transportation, Federal Aviation Administration-Aeronautical Information Services.
