资源简介:
This dataset is associated with the qualitative study “Strengthening Rural Health Workforce Development Through Organizational Support and Generational Adaptation: Evidence from the Philippines.” It focuses on young and early career healthcare workers employed in rural health units (RHUs) and barangay health stations (BHSs) located in three geographically isolated and disadvantaged areas (GIDAs) in Northern Luzon, Philippines. The dataset is intended to support secondary analysis on rural health workforce development, organizational support, and generational expectations among rural healthcare workers in low and middle income country contexts. It currently consists of metadata only (no files uploaded at this stage), describing the planned structure and content of the data to be shared once de identification and additional ethical safeguards are completed. Planned data components include: • De identified interview transcripts from 14 semi structured, face to face interviews with rural healthcare workers (physicians, nurses, midwives, nutritionists, barangay health workers, and administrative staff). • A codebook derived from qualitative content analysis, including theme and sub theme definitions related to organizational support, mentorship, work environment, professional growth, cultural engagement, and generational values. • A brief methodological note describing the sampling strategy, interview procedures, and analytic approach. All data will be de identified to remove personal names, specific locations, and other potentially identifying details, in accordance with ethical approval (Philippine Region 1 Ethical Review Committee, Protocol No. NURDD826A2026). Under the CC BY 4.0 licence selected for this dataset, future users will be allowed to share, adapt, and build upon the data, provided appropriate credit is given, a link to the license is provided, and any changes are indicated.
