This dataset contains responses from a cross-sectional survey conducted among medical students (years 1 to 6) at the University of Geneva, Switzerland. The study aimed to assess beliefs about low back pain using the Back Pain Attitudes Questionnaire (Back-PAQ).
The dataset includes demographic variables (age, sex, year of study) and responses to the 34 Back-PAQ items. Higher scores indicate stronger biomedical beliefs about low back pain, whereas lower scores indicate biopsychosocial conception.
All data were collected anonymously via an online questionnaire. No personally identifiable information is included.
A detailed description of variables and scoring procedures is provided in the accompanying data dictionary.
