Discription of the sampling sites across the Qaidam Basin and distribution of surface and subsurface organic carbon contents, moisture content, pH, and mineral compositions (quartz, hornblende, albite, orthoclase, illite, chlorite, calcite, dolomite, halite and gypsum) across the Qaidam Basin.
