Data on the PFOS adsorption efficiency by 18 gold nanoparticles (GNPs) under two different pH conditions, including the following information: unique identifier for each GNP, PFOS binding percentage at pH 6, standard deviation at pH 6 from three replicates, PFOS binding percentage at pH 11, standard deviation at pH 11 from three replicates, experimental protocol, nanoparticle shape (sphere), core material (gold), size (nm), number and SMILES notation of two types of attached ligands, reference citation, and DOI for the publication.
