Experimental data of common faults emulated on a 10 kW water-to-water variable-speed heat pump charged with propane. The faults emulated are evaporator fouling, compressor valve leakage, liquid line restriction and refrigerant overcharge. The faults are tested with 10 kW and 12 kW load demand. This data can be used to develop fault detection and diagnosis systems.
