NEFSC publications, reports, abstracts, and web pages/documents for calendar year 2006

"The following bibliography consists of three sections: (1) anonymously peer-reviewed publications ("publications"); (2) transparently peer-reviewed and non-peer reviewed publications ("reports"); (3) abstracts for oral presentations and poster displays; and (4) web pages and documents. The bibliography covers works prepared by Northeast Fisheries Science Center (NEFSC) employees which have a 2006 publication date. Authors who were NEFSC employees at the time they composed their works, and/or who were NEFSC employees during all or part of 2006, are designated by capital letters. Works which have a pre-2006 publication date but which were not released until 2006, or which have a 2006 publication date but had not been released at the time this list was published, have been included in this issue. They are noted by an asterisk (*) next to the publication date. Editorial treatment of bibliographic entries is based on the Council of Science Editors style manual, seventh1 edition. A hyperlinked list of organization acronyms has been included on the Table of Contents page. Availability of reprints of publications and of photocopies of reports and abstracts varies for each work.
