资源简介:
Exophiala spinifera (Chaetothyriales) is a black yeast agent potentially causing disseminated infection in apparently healthy humans; however, some of the severe cases appeared to be associated with an inherited dysfunction of the CARD9 gene. In order to gain understanding of virulence of this opportunistic species, we sequenced entire genomes BMU 08022 (clinical strain isolated from CARD9 deficiency patient), BMU 00051 (isolated from bark), and BMU 00047 (isolated from soil) using a combination of long-read (PacBio) and short-read (Illumina) sequencing technologies and a hybrid assembly strategy.
