This series consists of the minutes of meetings of the National Parks Service. Those in the P and P1 consignments are for the period when the agency was known as the National Parks Authority (1956 - 1971). Matters dealt with were to do with the functions of the agency relating to the oversight and control of national parks, their development and the responsibilities for conservation and for the education and enjoyment of visitors to the parks.
