NRS-16435 | Agenda and Papers [University of Newcastle - Planning Committee of Senate]

This series consists of the master reference set of Agenda, with associated business papers, for meetings of the Planning Committee of Senate of the University of Newcastle. The Planning Committee was set up under Senate Resolution 112/68. It met for the first time in February 1969, and irregularly thereafter as required. The Planning Committee was responsible for recommending particular courses of future development for the University, for developing criteria by which to assign priority to competing claims on the University's resources (which included physical space, staff, financial resources and such central services as the Library and computing services), and for assisting the production of the University's triennial submissions for funding. All of these functions are represented in this series.
