Influence of solvents on the extraction efficiency and biological activity of marbled eel mucus
收藏资源简介:
1. The chemical composition of marble eel mucus was analyzed, including protein content (13.74 %), lipid (9.14 %), crude ash (6.83%), and moisture (76.29 %).2. Were 20 compounds shown in the extract of A. marmorata mucus by High-Performance Liquid Chromatography analysis.3. Antioxidant activity was determined by the DPPH method (2,2—Diphenyl—1—picrylhydrazyl), which showed that the extract's highest antioxidant activity is 97.899 %, with an IC50 of 46.984 ± 0.004 (mg/mL).4. The mucus extracts have high inhibition to both types of bacteria, with a higher zone of inhibition for B. subtilis (Gram-positive) bacteria (12.33 mm), and a lower level was observed for E. coli (Gram-negative) bacteria (8.76 mm).5. The ability to inhibit cancer cell lines of varying degrees with IC50 values >500 µg/mL on 10 kinds of cancer cell lines.
