Dataset for article: "The Effect of Hardness and Surface Roughness of Elastomer on Friction between Shoe Soles and Particle-contaminated Floors"

This dataset contains raw experimental data used to evaluate the frictional performance of nitrile rubber, representing a shoe sole material, sliding against a smooth epoxy floor surface contaminated with solid particles. In addition to the friction measurements, the dataset includes a complete set of high-resolution images used for analyzing floor surface wear, which supports the interpretation of the frictional response under the given conditions. The dataset also provides supplementary data from particle shape analysis, characterizing the morphology of the contaminating particles, as well as surface roughness measurements of the rubber test specimens.
