资源简介:
A managed or integral biological reserve is part of the protected natural areas (ENP) which are areas designated or managed in an international, Community, national or local framework with a view to achieving specific objectives for the conservation of the natural heritage.
A directed biological reserve is a protected area in a forest environment, or in a forest-associated environment (land, ponds, bogs, dunes), in which conservation management for the protection of remarkable or threatened species and habitats is established.
An integral biological reserve is a protected area in a forest environment, or in a forest-associated environment (land, ponds, peatlands, dunes), left in free evolution to study the spontaneous dynamics of ecosystems.
These statutes apply to forests managed by the National Forestry Office. Biological reserves are part of the priority areas of the Protected Areas Strategy. They fall under IUCN Category IV.
