资源简介:
Norway lobsters (Nephrops norvegicus) are susceptible to Hematodinium sp., an endoparasitic dinoflagellate that proliferates in the haemolymph, causing morbidity and mortality in infected hosts. From an epizootiological perspective, the Clyde Sea Area (CSA) on the west of Scotland is the best studied Hematodinium-Nephrops pathosystem. The dataset here encompasses all systematic data available on the prevalence of Hematodinium sp. infecting Nephrops norvegicus in the CSA (ICES Division VIa) from 1988 to 2019. This includes data retrieved and curated from six peer-reviewed articles, two PhD theses and two reports to the UK Ministry of Agriculture and Food. This dataset is linked to the manuscript entitled 'Infection of Norway lobster (Nephrops norvegicus) by the parasite Hematodinium sp.: Insights from 30 years of field observations'.   Data contained in this dataset were retrieved from six peer-reviewed articles: Beevers, N., Kilbride, E., Atkinson, R., Neil, D., 2012.
