Dataset for: Geological constraints on technological practice: The distinctive iron metallurgy of Chongde, Eastern Taiwan

This dataset supports a manuscript submitted to the Journal of Archaeological Science on iron working remains from the Chongde site, eastern Taiwan. The dataset includes SEM-EDS bulk slag chemistry, slag phase point compositional data, slag inclusion bulk compositions, specific phase point, and metallic iron bulk analyses, selected LA-ICP-MS for Ca/Sr data, and associated sample-level analytical information. The README file describes the worksheet structure in the Excel workbook.
