Research database aimed to identify the character strengths and behavioral tendencies most endorsed by Brazilian teachers and the relationship of these constructs with personal and professional characteristics. Additionally, the relationship between character strengths, prosocial behavioral tendencies and mental health (in this case, levels of anxiety, depression and stress) was investigated. To this end, 497 teachers (M = 45.07 years and SD = 10.20) responded, remotely, to the following instruments: Character Strengths Scale (CSF); Prosocial Tendencies Measure (MTP); Depression, Anxiety and Stress Scale – Short Form (DASS-21) and; a sociodemographic and professional questionnaire. Descriptive and inferential statistical analyses were performed.
