资源简介:

This archive contains the digital elevation model (DEM) dataset and processing workflow for the 180° experimental alluvial fan. DEMs were acquired at 30-minute intervals by stopping the water supply and allowing the fan surface to drain, providing snapshots of fan topography used to validate and contextualize the observed channel dynamics. For the manuscript, DEMs of Difference (DoDs) derived from these scans are used in Fig. 9 to illustrate geomorphic changes during (a) a lateral-migration phase (270–300 min) and (b) avulsion-dominated phases (450–480 min), each overlaid on the hillshade DEM from the subsequent 30-minute scan. The zip file includes:• 01_raw_dem180deg: raw DEMs for all 30-minute intervals.• 02_modified_dems: preprocessed DEMs cropped to the fan surface, transformed to an apex-centred local coordinate system, and masked to remove the fan table and walls.• 03_DoD: DEMs of Difference for each pair of consecutive DEMs across the experiment.• 04_DOD_Plots: hillshade maps of the fan surface with overlaid erosion and deposition for each DoD.• dod_metrics.csv: summary table of fan-wide erosion and deposition areas and volumes for each DoD.• Fan_DEM_DoD_workflow.Rmd: an R Markdown file containing the full preprocessing and DoD-generation workflow, with brief documentation to allow users to reproduce and adapt the analysis.
