MSOT images corresponding to a scan of a mouse after subcutaneous injection of cells (day 5)

2x104, 1x105, and 2x105 GNR-Si35-labelled (30 pM) MSCs, as well as 2x105 control cells were subcutaneously injected at 4 different positions into the flank of a mouse, and monitored for up to 15 days. Scans of the regions where cells were injected were acquired with 0.3 mm steps at day 5. It is shown here the images obtained after multispectral reconstruction. The backrgound (i.e. images corresponding to 860 nm) was made transparent.
