As of 2023, geopolitical uncertainty was the event that institutional investors worldwide expected to have the largest impact on investment performance over the next twelve months. In fact, 55 percent of the respondents were concerned with the influence of this type of event on their portfolio's investment performance in the next 12 months. Rising inflation followed closely in second place with 53 percent.
