The geological structure of the tectonic boundary between the South
America and Scotia plates in Tierra del Fuego region has been
investigated during three field studies conducted onshore-offshore.
GPS, gravimetric, magnetic and seismic data have been adquired along
the North Scotia plate in this area. TESAC is a joint project between
Direccion Nacional del Antartico-Instituto Antartico Argentino and the
Osservatorio Geofisico Sperimentale di Trieste, Italy. Collaboration
with the Estacion Astronomica de Rio Grande personnel occurred during
field study.
