Evolucion Tectonica del Atlantico Sur en el Cenozoico (TESAC)

The geological structure of the tectonic boundary between the South America and Scotia plates in Tierra del Fuego region has been investigated during three field studies conducted onshore-offshore. GPS, gravimetric, magnetic and seismic data have been adquired along the North Scotia plate in this area. TESAC is a joint project between Direccion Nacional del Antartico-Instituto Antartico Argentino and the Osservatorio Geofisico Sperimentale di Trieste, Italy. Collaboration with the Estacion Astronomica de Rio Grande personnel occurred during field study.
