MARKET ANALYSIS OF THE ANTIDEFACTORY DRUG MARKET OF THE REPUBLIC OF UZBEKISTAN

Soothing The level of consumption of (sedative) and sleep-improving drugs is an important indicator of the mental health of the population and the social orientation of the pharmaceutical care system. Research objective: Comprehensive assessment of the state, structure and development trends of the circulation of drugs belonging to the ATC groups N 05 CB , N 05 CD , N 05 CF , N 05 CH and N 05 CM in the pharmaceutical market of the Republic of Uzbekistan in 2021–2025 from a marketing point of view. Methods and materials. A retrospective, systematic, structural, comparative, graphical and mathematical-statistical analysis was performed on 315 trading positions selected from the pharmaceutical market commercial audit database; concentration coefficients ( CR 3, CR 5, CR 10) and the Herfindahl-Hirschman index ( HHI ) were calculated. Results. In 2025, the market volume amounted to 6.24 million packs and 5.88 million US dollars. In 2021–2025, the average annual change in physical volume was −15.5%, and the change in value volume was +2.7%. The share of imports reached 94.5% in value and 96.3% in physical volume. The HHI among supplying countries was 2167 units. 61.0% of the market value falls on international non-patented names for which there is no domestic analogue. Summary. In the market, against the background of natural volume reduction, the value volume growth, i.e. "growth at the expense of prices" model has been formed. High dependence on imports and declining range activity require strengthening of import substitution programs.
