This series comprises of the transcript from the public hearings of the public Inquiry under the Charitable Fundraising Act 1991 into The Returned and Services League of Australia (New South Wales Branch), RSL Welfare and Benevolent Institution and RSL LifeCare Limited that commenced on the 5 September 2017 and concluded on the 24 October 2017. The transcript covers all 32 days of the Public Inquiry and included is the schedule of Transcript Amendments which was prepared to be read with the transcript of public hearings. Instructions were received from the Senior Legal Team to place this material on the Department of Finance, Services and Innovations website and the documents were prepared, reviewed and approved by the Senior Legal Team before the documents were uploaded. These documents were drawn from the DFSI website for archival purposes as the DFSI website was only to be made publicly available for 12 months post closure of the Inquiry.Confidential transcripts are also held and will be made available inline with the access directions.The Public Inquirer heard closing submissions over two days on the 9 and 10 November 2017. These closing submissions of the parties are also held. Redacted closing submissions were received from parties with leave to appear during the Inquiry's Public Hearings and are available immediately.
