Sediment cores were collected by multi-core at stations DBO3.8 andDBO3.6 in the southern Chukchi Sea in summer of 2018. Experimental cores were incubated with a stable-isotope labeled tracer, and background cores were not incubated. Top water was sampled before and after incubations for measurement of DIC-13. Data were used to generate estimates of the contribution of each individual taxon to consumption of detritus, and the rate of detritus processing at two different experimental temperatures.
