资源简介:
Brandenburg is home to a wealth of near-surface mineral raw materials that secure the basis for production and innovation in the area of the country's basic materials industry, but also beyond the country's borders. With high-quality gravel sand and sand deposits widely spread across the country, a wide variety of construction measures, infrastructure measures or processing plants are supplied close to the site. But not only sand and gravel as mass building materials, also high-quality glass sands, clays and special clays, peat as well as the hard rocks of the Lausitzer Grauwacke and the limestone from the open-cast mine near Rüdersdorf find a wide variety of applications in the most diverse areas of daily life.
With the mapping, evaluation and publication of raw material potentials as well as their inclusion in regional planning, the Brandenburg State Office for Mining, Geology and Raw Materials (LBGR) is taking on a key task on the way to supplying the state with indigenous mineral raw materials. The core of this work is the map of near-surface raw materials on a scale of 1: 50 000.
The basic map work was created from 1993 to 1996 in a first edition nationwide for the state of Bran-denburg and then continuously revised. The KOR 50 has been re-mapping since 2015. New insights into existing raw material potentials through the evaluation of new drill openings are taken into account, as well as changes in economic use or the progress of raw material extraction within the deposit area. The map thus reflects the latest state of knowledge about the distribution of stone and earth raw materials in the state of Brandenburg.
