Coding Materials for Recurring Conceptual Difficulties in Abstraction-Intensive Computing Education: A Multi-Case Study of Design Patterns and Network Layering
收藏资源简介:
This dataset contains the anonymized coding materials supporting the study "Recurring Conceptual Difficulties in Abstraction-Intensive Computing Education: A Multi-Case Study of Design Patterns and Network Layering." The repository includes independent pre-consensus coding by two researchers, final consensus coding, domain-specific codebooks, a data dictionary, and a Python script reproducing the inter-rater agreement statistics and consensus code frequencies reported in the manuscript. The Design Patterns corpus comprises 63 evidence units (59 Socrative responses and four collaborative mind-map artifacts), whereas the Network Layering corpus comprises 53 evidence units (47 Socrative responses and six collaborative mind-map artifacts). Raw student responses, original collaborative artifacts, baseline characterization data, consent forms, and other potentially identifying materials are not publicly released. vidence descriptions contained in the public coding files are anonymized coder-generated paraphrases.
