In this study, we have sequenced a region of ~2.3 Mb of the male-specific portion of the Y chromosome (MSY) from 600 Vietnamese individuals representing 17 different ethnicities. Double indexed DNA libraries were enriched via in-solution capture and paired-end sequenced on an Illumina HiSeq 2500 platform. Sequences were aligned against hg19_1000g using BWA (v0.5.10) aligning algorithm using default parameters.
