Road sections of the RVA supports real-time road traffic data (FCD)

This data layer is a selection of sections of the Rennes Métropole (RVA) track and address repository.
These sections are linked to the “real-time traffic” data stream distributed by Autoroute Traffic in order to generate a Traficolor. A public contract regulates the provision of this flow and authorises Rennes Métropole to distribute it under ODbL (Open Database License).
The FCD data to be used with this repository shall cover the period from 28/03/2023. These archived FCD data can be disseminated externally on request at [e-mail] (depending on the load plan, the delivery times may be long).

Note that the repository used by Autoroute Traffic and the RVA are different. In the Autoroute Trafic reference, certain lanes are represented by 2 separate sections corresponding to each roadway (one-way traffic). In the RVA, the same routes are represented by only one line (circulation in both directions). As a result, some RVA sections have been duplicated to represent the traffic direction of each roadway. The sections concerned are those for which there is a suffix “_D” or “_G” with the identifier of the RVA section.
Each section corresponds to a rolling roadway. It is oriented according to the direction of traffic which is unique for all sections.
For the sake of legibility, the duplicate sections have been the subject of an automated movement to make the Traficolor more visible and to better restore the principle of the 2 roadways.

Among the attributes:
\- id_troncon = primary key to be used to attach FCD data (see above the duplication principle for suffixed sections “_D” or “_G”)
\- hierarchy = hierarchy of the section within the meaning of the Urban Travel Plan of Rennes Métropole
\- hierarchy_dv = hierarchy of the section within the meaning of the Direction de la route de Rennes Métropole
\- direction_circule = filled in “Single sense” all sections which, in the RVA, represented a one-way roadway (all other sections were duplicated)
\- speed_maxi = maximum allowed speed on the section at the date of the metadata.
