<p>Real-world hardware and physical coupling are rarely perfectly modeled. A major activity of the RETH Institute has been developing a cyber-physical testbed: a realization of a <em>smart habitat</em> (SmartHab) meant to support research into the techniques and technologies needed to design and autonomously operate an extraterrestrial habitat.</p>
<p>These series of datasets is a first delivery of measured responses of the thermal management (TM) system of the SmartHab under various operational conditions, such as nominal and deficient refrigerant charge levels, various thermal loads affecting the SmartHab, various operation modes, and even the replacement of the compressor, a key element, after an actual damage to the unit.</p>
