Indonesian Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus, Prediabetic, and Normoglycemic Salivary Microbiome

Type-2 Diabetes Mellitus (T2DM) is a public health burden worldwide. Therefore, in this study, we aim to analyze T2DM patients salivary microbiome based on metagenomic analysis. This is the first study related to salivary bacteriome in different glycaemic statuses of Indonesian adults. Sixty three participants were classified into normoglycemic, prediabetic, and T2DM groups.
