Dynamics and stage-specificity of between-population gene expression divergence in the Drosophila melanogaster larval fat body (RNA-seq in a derived population)

We used RNA-seq in a derived European Drosophila melanogaster population from Germany (MU) to examine coding gene expression variation in the larval fat body during the late wandering third instar stage. Gene expression profiles of five isofemale strains from a German (MU) population of D. melanogaster. This RNA-seq data was generated for dissected female larval fat bodies during the late wandering third instar stage with 2-3 biological replicates per isofemale strain.
