Replication package for “The long-term economic effects of war shocks: Evidence from the Spanish Civil War”

This repository contains the replication package for the paper “The long-term economic effects of war shocks: Evidence from the Spanish Civil War” by Rafael González-Val and Javier Silvestre (Universidad de Zaragoza). The package includes all Stata do-files, datasets, and documentation required to reproduce the empirical results reported in the paper. The replication files generate the main tables, appendix tables, robustness checks, placebo simulations, and the extended-sample analysis presented in the article. A README file provides instructions for reproducing the results, while a Codebook describes the main variables and data sources. The replication files were developed using Stata 14 and require the user-written packages `acreg`, `outreg2`, and `csdid`.
