This dataset contains mesoscale imaging data from mice captured using LabeoTech's imaging system. Spontaneous and evoked, resting-state calcium activity of mice was recorded before (baseline) and after (post-days) inducing an ischemic stroke in the area between the primary mortor cortex and somatosensory cortex using photothrombosis. Each imaging session involved recording spontaneous baseline activity, and for a subset of mice also involved three minutes of evoked activity while delivering whiskers stimulations. Raw mesoscale imaging data was analysed using the Universal Mesoscale Imaging Toolbox (umIT) (https://github.com/LabeoTech/Umit). Images were imported from the microscope binary files provided in this dataset and separated into red, green, amber, and fluorescent channels for analysis. Fluorescent images were hemodynamically corrected using the red, green, and amber channels to remove information about blood flow from the neuronal signal. Images were then aligned to the Mouse Allan Brain Atlas, and then aligned again using a reference image to reduce movement artefacts within and between recordings.
