Detmolder Hoftheater 1825–1875

From 2014 to 2021, the so-called Court Theatre Project recorded and indexed the performance materials of the Fürstlich Lippische Hoftheater from the period 1825 to 1875 as well as the associated files and presents these data in a portal at www.hoftheater-detmold.de.

The files were indexed in the TEI standard, the performance materials in MEI, following the FRBR model: the performance "history" of a work is summarised in one expression each. It is documented in the corresponding surviving performance material as a manifestation. Since most of the material is handwritten, it was recorded as a manifestation singleton and the few printed parts it contains were integrated as individual Court Theatre components.

The work, expression and manifestation files are linked via the relationships described in the FRBR model.

The information on the materials is supplemented in numerous cases by score incipits also coded in MEI.

In addition, persons, works and dramatis personae mentioned are documented in independent data sets with a project-internal ID, so that information from both the performance materials and the files could be linked via this ID.
