资源简介:
The datasets contain the results of surface characterization of NiTi alloy samples modified with tantalum oxide (Ta2O5) coatings deposited by the Atomic Layer Deposition (ALD) method. The work is focused on the development of advanced surface engineering strategies for cardiovascular implants, in particular occluder systems for atrial septal defect (ASD) closure. The aim of the study was to evaluate the structure and morphology of the ALD coatings and to investigate their impact on the physicochemical and biological properties of NiTi alloy.Sample Preparation:Base material: NiTi (Nitinol, shape memory alloy)Surface modification: ALD coating of Ta2O5The databases include:Surface and structural analyses – morphology of coatings (SEM, AFM), elemental composition (EDS), thickness and uniformity of the ALD layers.Electrochemical tests – corrosion resistance and electrochemical stability of the coated samples in simulated physiological environments.Biological assays – in vitro cytotoxicity, cell proliferation, thrombogenicity, and proinflammatory cytokine release to assess the biological response to modified surfaces.Functional tests – evaluation of fluoroscopic visibility of the coated material compared to unmodified NiTi.
