资源简介:
[Objective] This study aims to analyze the limitations of the traditional “tidal force” theory and its “tidal ellipse” model, and proposes a new mechanism in which “tide-generating force” serves as the primary driver of tides.[Methods] The mechanism utilizes changes in centrifugal force caused by Earth’s axial tilt, assisted by the kinetic inertia of seawater and its gravity, to explain two high and two low tides daily. The synchronization between tides and lunar declination, along with centrifugal force variation patterns, explains spring tides, neap tides, perigean tides, apogean tides, equatorial tides, lunar return tides, and diurnal inequality. The contribution of solar gravity is also evaluated.[Results] The variation in centrifugal force due to Earth’s axial tilt is the key driver of periodic seawater movement (manifested as a tidal ellipse). This mechanism reasonably explains the temporal correspondence between tidal phenomena and lunar motion. Solar gravity has a weak influence on tides.[Conclusion] This study proposes a new tidal driving mechanism based on centrifugal force variation from Earth’s axial tilt (the “tide-generating force”), providing a novel explanatory framework for tidal phenomena and highlighting the essential role of lunar parameters. Determination of the axial tilt angle in the mechanism requires further validation.
