Obstacles

The Digital Obstacle File dataset describes all known obstacles of interest to aviation users in the United States, with limited coverage of the Pacific, the Caribbean, Canada, and Mexico. It contains only obstruction data for those man-made objects that affect domestic aeronautical charting products and does not purport to indicate the presence of all obstructions that may be encountered. The obstacles are assigned unique numerical identifiers; accuracy codes, and listed in order by state. Obstacle information is published every eight weeks by the U.S. Department of Transportation, Federal Aviation Administration-Aeronautical Information Services. This data set reflects changes to December 12, 2018.
