In this study, we examined the upper thermal limit of epaulette sharks and found that thermal tolerance was not influenced by three life history stages, sex, or body size. As an indicator elasmobranch species, these findings highlight the need for more research to understand thermal limitations in the context of climate change.
Software/equipment used to create/collect the data: Equipment: temperatures logged with OXROB3 fibre optic probe connected to a Firesting Optical Oxygen Meter (Pyroscience GmbH, Aachen, Germany).
