Rhesus macaques were vaccinated with a recombinant vesicular stomatitis virus bearing the SARS-CoV-2 spike and Ebola virus glycoprotein (rVSV-SARS2-S) ten days before challenge with SARS-CoV-2. Macaques were vaccinated intranasally or intramuscularly. Control animals received rVSV-EBOV-GP. Lower left lung and broncheolar lavage samples were obtained at 3 days post challenge for RNA-Sequencing analysis.
